柒木持續探索當代製造技術與傳統工藝之間的平衡。透過材料的選擇、結構的變化，以及對細節比例的掌握，讓作品同時保有現代的清晰度與時間累積的痕跡。

 

Through material selection, structural refinement, and careful attention to proportion, KIMU creates lighting objects that carry both the clarity of contemporary design and the traces of time embedded in making.

 

Modern Bonsai 作為此次展覽的主題，並非單純的造型參照，它代表的是一種經由修剪、培養與時間建立起的秩序感，延續柒木對「脆弱平衡」與「材料時間性」的關注，並具體展現出結構與光的關係。

 

Rather than referencing bonsai as an object, Modern Bonsai draws inspiration from the process behind it—a quiet discipline shaped through cultivation, pruning, and the gradual passage of time. It reflects KIMU’s ongoing interest in fragile balance, material temporality, and the dialogue between structure and light.

 

光的邊界如何被材料重新定義？工藝的痕跡又如何影響光的表情？柒木在傳統與現代、設計與工藝之間，同時處理光、材料與時間，建立一種可以持續生長出不同樣貌的設計語言。

 

How does material redefine the boundaries of light? How do traces of craftsmanship influence its character? Moving between tradition and modernity, design and craft, KIMU approaches light, material, and time as interconnected elements, forming a design language that continues to evolve and grow.
